2025 Storybook Festival
Saturday, March 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sentinel Vocational Center
The Storybook Festival is back and better than ever!
Tiffin-Seneca Public Library and United Way of North Central Ohio are partnering again to host the annual early literacy festival on Saturday, March 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sentinel Career & Technology Center at 793 East Township Road 201.
The Festival has become an annual joint effort to promote literacy in Seneca County, providing fun for the entire family. Local businesses and organizations will host booths that have activities, games, or crafts promoting early literacy and the six early literacy skills. These skills, which provide building blocks for reading, writing, and overall lifelong learning, are vocabulary, print motivation, print awareness, narrative skills, letter knowledge, and phonological awareness. This year, thanks to several generous sponsors, everyone in attendance will get a free lunch (while supplies last), and special storytime events will take place periodically throughout the event.
We would like your organization to be a part of this year’s Storybook Festival and help our community’s children learn about books and the joy that reading brings. We would love for your group to host a booth, make an appearance or if you would prefer, make a donation for door prizes.
