Our Information Services Department is available to help with your research. Staff members are able to log onto the Ohio Obituary Index (courtesy of the Hayes Presidential Library) to search for Ohio obituaries. Brief death notices, marriage announcements, divorces, etc, may also be indexed in the database.

Please note, due to limited staff availability, we are unable to complete extensive research projects. If you would like to stop in and browse our Genealogy section, Information Services staff members are happy to give you a tour of the collection and get you started with your research. If you are arriving from out of town, we recommend that you call ahead to verify staff availability as well as the library hours of operation.

By providing staff with an email address, documents can be scanned and emailed directly to you.

Obituaries can be obtained at a cost of $3.00 per record. Please mail a check or money order payable to Tiffin-Seneca Public Library with your request. Requests are limited to three records at a time. Upon delivery, three more records may be requested.
