December 2020: Remembering the Holidays, Vintage Decorations and Family Traditions
The Extension and Outreach Department at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library allows the Library to come to you! For groups who can't make it to the Library, such as persons with disabilities, home-bound, or those who live in nursing homes or assisted living facilities, our Extension and Outreach Manager Beth Gottfried makes sure you have all the Library materials you need! In addition to making those important deliveries, she gives presentations at these facilities that are designed to rekindle memories and encourage sharing about bygone days, as well as entertain and educate.
Even though Beth hasn't been able to visit these facilities the last few months, we want to continue to provide our senior population with the entertaining and educational presentations they get from Beth!
This month, Beth will talk about the holiday traditions, vintage decorations, and how you can keep the holiday spirit alive this year! A pinecone elf craft will follow. See the template and photos below for more information on how to make this craft.
