Rubber Ducky Club

For babies aged newborn to 35 months

The program features early literacy reading activity suggestions (vocabulary, print awareness, letter knowledge, phonological awareness, print motivation, and narrative skills) that encourages parents to read to their baby. Completing 60 activities will earn a prize. Activity logs can be picked up at the Library or printed from the button below beginning Monday, June 3. Participants will get a bag, a shaky egg, and a scarf when they pick up their activity logs; while supplies last. Please turn in activity logs when completed. There is no need to check in throughout the summer, and there is no registration.

Reading to babies not only creates a special bonding time together but also builds their brainpower, helps them learn the language, encourages speech, and prepares them to be readers!
